2. DETAILED TEACHING PROCEDURE
STEP 1: The Hook (Warm-up)
Start by asking: "If you saw a rabbit wearing a waistcoat and holding a watch,
what would you do?" Introduce the concept of a 'Wonderland'—a place where the
impossible happens.
STEP 2: Interactive Reading
Read the story with dramatic pauses. Highlight Alice’s transition from boredom to
curiosity. Use vocal modulation for the rabbit's hurried lines: "Oh dear! I shall be
too late!"
STEP 3: Visual Description

📖 Alice in Wonderland (हिन्दी अनुवाद)
एलिस अपनी बहन के पास एक पेड़ के नीचे लेटी हुई थी और उसकी बहन उसे कहानी पढ़कर सुना रही थी। तभी अचानक उसने एक सफ़ेद खरगोश को पास से तेजी से दौड़ते हुए देखा।
वह खरगोश बहुत ही अनोखा था:
उसकी आँखें गुलाबी थीं।
उसने नीले रंग की सदरिया (waistcoat) पहनी थी।
उसने अपनी जेब से एक बड़ी घड़ी निकाली और उसे देखते हुए बोला, "ओह! मुझे बहुत देर हो जाएगी!"
एलिस को बहुत आश्चर्य हुआ क्योंकि उसने पहले कभी ऐसा खरगोश नहीं देखा था जो बोल सकता हो या कपड़े पहनता हो। वह उत्सुकता से भर गई और उस खरगोश का पीछा करने लगी।
खरगोश एक बड़े बिल (rabbit hole) में कूद गया। एलिस भी उसके पीछे-पीछे उस बिल में कूद गई। वह बिल बहुत गहरा था और एलिस नीचे ही नीचे (down and down) गिरती गई। गिरते हुए वह सोचने लगी, "क्या मैं पृथ्वी के केंद्र तक पहुँच जाऊँगी?"
अचानक वह सूखी पत्तियों के ढेर पर जाकर गिरी। उसने अपने चारों ओर देखा तो उसे वही सफ़ेद खरगोश फिर से दिखाई दिया जो चिल्ला रहा था, "ओह! मेरे कान और गलमुच्छे! अब तो बहुत देर हो गई!" और फिर वह गायब हो गया।
एलिस ने देखा कि वह एक कांच की मेज के पास खड़ी है जिस पर एक छोटी सुनहरी चाबी (tiny golden key) रखी थी। उसने एक छोटा सा दरवाजा देखा जो केवल पन्द्रह इंच ऊँचा था। उसने उस चाबी से दरवाजा खोला और अंदर झाँका।
दरवाजे के पीछे उसने दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बगीचा देखा, जिसमें चमकीले फूलों की क्यारियाँ और ठंडे फव्वारे थे। वह उस बगीचे में जाना चाहती थी, लेकिन वह दरवाजा इतना छोटा था कि उसका सिर भी अंदर नहीं जा सकता था। वह सोचने लगी, "काश! मैं छोटी हो पाती!"
